Jessica Linette Holum was born on June 3, 1990. She went off on her heavenly adventure with her treasured children on April 8, 2024, at the age of thirty-three. She worked as a hospitality server working weekends so she could spend the days during the week with her children.
Jess’s free-spirited personality was a beacon to people. Once you met Jess, you remembered her. Remembered her for her love of life, mischievous acts, compassion toward others; friends, strangers, anyone with a need. She had a delightful appreciation for shenanigans.
Jess had a passion for animals. She especially treasured dogs and horses. As a young girl, she took riding lessons at a local stable. She worked at the stable to pay for her riding lessons. The horses always knew when she arrived at the barn. There would be a treat of molasses and oats in her pocket for them.
Survived by mother Linette Holum; father Marty (Heather) Holum; brother Chase (Fallon) Holum; nieces Harley and Scarlett; sister (adopted-babysitter) Kari Como; bonus children Brayden and Carley Frank; special family member (Grandma Betty’s husband) Lance Lauer; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death by Papa Holum and Grandma Betty (Lauer); Papa and Grandma Tiedemann; Baby Girl Frank; and children Solara and Laiken Frank. Private services will be held. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1-4PM at Kindred Hearts in Monticello on Friday, April 26, 2024.
