Bruce was born on March 29, 1942, in Cando, ND to Harold and Esther (Moen) Hauschulz. After high school he went to UND where he earned his Electrical Engineering degree, and then he worked 33 years in the power industry. He married his high school sweetheart Aoulene on March 7th, 1964, in Rock Lake, ND. They went on to have a beautiful family, having three daughters, Kris, Robin, and Michele.
Bruce enjoyed farming, cooking, and his morning sudoku puzzle. Bruce loved to experience the world by traveling, going to musical events and learning about different cultures. He loved technology; he was very talented when it came to learning how to utilize different forms, old and new.
Bruce had a caring heart; he spent many years as Aoulene’s primary caregiver. He did all that he could to put her first and make her comfortable. He will be remembered for his loving, dedicated, caring, and giving nature. Above all he truly cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved seeing everyone during the holidays and the annual trip to the lake in August in Park Rapids, MN. He will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Aoulene; children, Kris (Tony) Jackson, Robin (Bob) Eastman, Michele (Kevin) McCormick; grandchildren, Nick, Whitney, Brendon, Ali, Ben, Cal, Mylie, Alayna, Keagan; great-granddaughters, Grace and Ellie; brother Dennis (Judy) and many treasured family.
